Harmony:-1.

The Rishies of the Upanishads courtiers of the harmony.They investigated into it, observed its play and systematised their knowledge in it into a subjective science, complete with its theoretical explanations and practical methods.  Nature is not to the eastern thinkers an unwilling and alien arrangement of things. On the other hand to them it is but the expression of the very same harmony that exists everywhere, which is at once the very core and the substance of the entire universe. Everything exists in it and every one must seek his/her fulfilment in it.

To discover this harmony and live in it atonement with it, is to master life, inasmuch as there afterwards  one, who is so perfect himself/herself, will have no tensions or strains while living through one's environments, or while braving one's own day to day problems. contd---

CHAPTER- 3 :  HINDU DHARMA-9 9. Truth - Brahman is Sat or Existence-Absolute. Truth must be observed in thought, word and deed. If you are established in truth, all other virtues will cling to you by themselves. Harischandra sacrificed everything for the sake of truth. He lives still in our hearts. Yudhishthira was also devoted to truth. There is no virtue higher than truth. Practice of truth and Ahimsa constitute the crown and glory of ethical life. In the Taittiriya Upanishad, the preceptor says in his convocation address to the students: “Satyam vada—Speak the truth.” The world is rooted in truth. Dharma is rooted in truth. 20/01/2018 CHAPTER- 5. HINDU TENETS-4. 4. The Three Kinds Of Karma : 1. Sanchita, 2. Prarabdha and 3. Agami Karma is of three kinds, viz., Sanchita (accumulated works), Prarabdha (fructifying works) and Kriyamana or Agami (current works). 1. Sanchita is all the accumulated Karmas of the past. Part of it is seen in the character of man, in his tendencies and aptitudes, capacities, inclinations and desires, etc. Tendencies come from this. 2. Prarabdha is that portion of the past Karma which is responsible for the present body. That portion of the Sanchita Karma which influences human life in the present incarnation is called Prarabdha. It is ripe for reaping. It cannot be avoided or changed. It is only exhausted by being experienced. You pay your past debts. Prarabdha Karma is that which has begun and is actually bearing fruit.
