The call of vedanta to man is to soar to that solitary peak of perfection, to ascend towards its brilliant glory through knowledge-- right knowledge. Nothing should really compel a brave man to vulgar sadness. A man is rightly judged not by his skin; we should plumb him deeper and come to touch the riches in the deeper depths in him. One who cannot find entertainment in solitude is indeed imperfect. The true test of divinity in ourselves is in our capacity to feel amply rewarded in ourselves by ourselves.

If you are established in truth, all other virtues will cling to you by themselves. Harischandra sacrificed everything for the sake of truth. He lives still in our hearts. Yudhishthira was also devoted to truth. There is no virtue higher than truth. Practice of truth and Ahimsa constitute the crown and glory of ethical life. 20/01/2018 CHAPTER- 5. HINDU TENETS-4. 4. The Three Kinds Of Karma : 1. Sanchita, 2. Prarabdha and 3. Agami Karma is of three kinds, viz., Sanchita (accumulated works), Prarabdha (fructifying works) and Kriyamana or Agami (current works). 1. Sanchita is all the accumulated Karmas of the past. Part of it is seen in the character of man, in his tendencies and aptitudes, capacities, inclinations and desires, etc. Tendencies come from this. 2. Prarabdha is that portion of the past Karma which is responsible for the present body. That portion of the Sanchita Karma which influences human life in the present incarnation is called Prarabdha. It is ripe for reaping. It cannot be avoided or changed. It is only exhausted by being experienced. You pay your past debts. Prarabdha Karma is that which has begun and is actually bearing fruit.
